Give Peeps a Chance

Easter is right around the corner, so we thought it would be a great time to test your knowledge of the infamous Easter marshmallow treat, the Peep.  Just how much do you “think” you know?

NOW TEST YOUR PEEP IQ

Now think about this. If you could create a brand new kind of Peep, what would it be? Also what color or flavor would you choose?

When you have finished posting your comment on these questions, you are going to want to visit our class website’s Holiday Heyday for some Easter math and reading fun.

    • I have not replied to your comment for a few days because quite honestly I was just in shock!! I have talked to my team teacher and we just do not think we can let this travesty slide. So what we are proposing is this – We would like to ship to New Zealand a box of Easter Peeps with at least one peep for each of the students in your classroom. In order to do this, you will need to email me your mailing address. My email is [email protected]. Once they arrive, we would like to Skype with your class if we can arrange a time that will suit both our classes. I do hope we can arrange this collaboration because we want to be there when you experience your first peep. You might say – We would like to take a “Peep” into your class of students. Please let me hear from you soon. (By the way, my team teacher is an official member of the Peeps Fan Club.)

  1. If I could design a peep mine would be in the shape of a smiley face and would taste like chocolate. The eyes and mouth would be made of chocolate that would melt in your mouth. Yummy! Just thinking about it makes me hungry.

    • Now why am I NOT surprised. Mrs. Ganong’s room glows of yellow from down the hall. It is the room where you will definitely find the most “smiles” in the entire intermediate school. Keep smiling, Mrs. Ganong. We love you.

  2. I just loved your Peep’s quiz! That was a tough challenge. I will share your blog with my class tomorrow (MrTs2ndGrade). We’ll post some responses too!
Thanks for the great blog post! 🙂

    • And after visiting your website and seeing that you had named us Blog of the Month we were so excited!!!!!! In fact I have shared your blog site with our entire Intermediate and Primary campuses. Thank you so much for the compliment. My kids are so happy to be recognized for their hard work.

  3. If I were to create a Peep I would make a car. The color would be blue and the flavor would be watermelon.
