How many of you have a pet now, or have had a pet at one time or another? I’ve often wondered what my pet does all day long while I am gone to school. I am quite sure that he misses me terribly. I know this because when the front door opens in the afternoon, he greets me at the door with his tail wagging with enthusiasm. What is he trying to say to me? Later when I sit down on the sofa to watch American Idol, he curls up next to me, and sometimes even tries to sing along. So my question to you is this, if your pet could talk, what would he say to you?

my pet a.k.a. a guine pig would probably say play with me or else or LETS EAT!!!!
Did you know that in Australia we have a show called ‘Australian Idol’ It is a copy of yours. My cat loves to watch the auditions. She is not into the serious performances though!
I know that my cat visits at least three old ladies during the day when I am at work. They all feed her. She is huge. I am her third favourite owner. I think that’s because I worm her and take her to the vet.
Hi,
It was great to get a comment on our blog from you. I LOVE your talking penguin. I decided to put a Blabberize movie on our blog too! I actually did one of my husband’s cat ‘Brian the Lion’ talking.
Cheers,

We are glad you like our scavenger hunt. We are getting ready to do another one. It helps to get people to visit our student blogs. Really, you should try it on your own blog. It is so much fun. I like all that you are doing…and especially your blogging dog!

Wow! Our first contact from another blogging classroom! Your blog looks terrific. Congratulations on getting started in blogging. As you can probably tell already, it is very rewarding and the students love it (the parents too!). I have kept our blogging very private so far but felt it was time to make some global connections this year since that is what Web 2.0 and blogging is all about…collaborating and sharing with the world and going beyond our classroom walls to learn and grow! I will also add you to our blog so my grade 5 class can you follow you as well. Thanks for “reaching out”!

That sounds a lot like my son. Do you think it is harder to raise a guinea pig or a child?

Your cat sounds like the cat in the book Six Dinner Sid. Everyone loves a cat.

Your cat looks adorable. This is one of the great things about blogging…sharing ideas between schools. My class is truly enjoying this task.
