The first of the Blog Challenge09 has been issued and we are ready to rise to the occasion. The task is to introduce ourselves. Here in this post, I would like to link you to some interesting facts and trivia about our great state of Texas located here in the United States of America. I had to include that we were here in the USA because we have been fortunate enough to receive visitors from all over the world!
Our class is a class of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. We are the first intermediate class to blog at our campus, and we hope to encourage others to follow very soon. A few teachers have started a personal blog, but we hope to show by example that getting the students involved in blogging is a invaluable educational tool. Where my students once hated to write, they are now going to our Blog roll and posting comments in their spare time – FOR FUN!
Student blogging has been and continues to be a productive weekly activity.
